Why You Shouldn’t Install Jobber Motors | Snowdon University

Hi this is Mitch and I’m here at Snowdon and today I want to talk about why you shouldn’t install [jobber 00:00:10] motors in your HVAC equipment. The main reason is that a [jobber 00:00:15] motor’s only reason for existence is that it’s been designed to be cheaper than the original equipment. Normally, people are taking them, their re-engineering them or sending them off to a plant and saying, “Make this motor for me, but make it cheaper,” so that they can come back to the market and sell the motors cheaper, but it’s a guaranteed way of having a higher failure rate so why take a chance putting that in your HVAC equipment?
